French
In French, we have continued to use our usual scheme of work, 'Salut!', for remote learning. The on-screen format of the scheme lends itself perfectly to being presented through Zoom. As in our normal lessons, children can be introduced to the vocabulary and learn and practice questions and answers, just as we would in class.
While some written work was submitted in lessons through Showbie (example below), we used the opportunity to practise speaking and listening and we have begun to catch up with our written work now we are back in class. Where we could, we also tried to keep it active (see video).
