Enrichment and Cultural Capital
As outlined in our Music Intent statement, our Music curriculum has many opportunities for wider opportunities to feed into our children’s cultural capital. We strive to offer our children a range of opportunities that they wouldn’t necessarily be able to access otherwise. Some of the wider opportunities we offer include opportunities to listen to live music, whole school projects linked to Cumbria Music Hub, the opportunity to take part a range of competitions locally and regionally and whole school events that promote of love of learning such as our school music festival and trips to Christmas pantomimes.

Graffiti Classics String Quartet
We had the most wonderful afternoon welcoming Graffiti Classic String Quartet into our school. The children absolutely loved the performance and it was fantastic to see the excitement the performance brought to our school.
